Plans for two possible designs of a proposed new Parish Office were on display in St Andrew's Lismore for several months earlier in the year. A survey of parishioners indicated overwhelming support for the design planned for the western end of the existing Parish Hall. Parish Council is proceeding on that basis with preparing detailed plans for that new construction. SOLAR POWER COMING TO ST ANDREWS..... Parish Council passed a motion at its July meeting to investigate the viability of installing solar power panels on the north-facing roof of the Parish Hall of St Andrew's Lismore. Current costings indicate that the panels would generate sufficient power to be fed back to the grid to cover installation costs within 5-6 years. Over $1140 was raised through this annual event where scrumptious country style cooking was enjoyed in the rambling gardens of a working farm in the beautiful rural setting of Wyrallah amongst friendly folk from our Parish family.
